Ancora passi in avanti verso nuove funzionalità della piattaforma Omniaplace. Il laboratorio di eResult ha messo a punto un importante e ricco aggiornamento integrando la possibilità di scrivere, grazie ad un nuovo tipo di controllo “HTML Editor”, testi con molte possibilità di formattazione. Tra le novità più importanti anche un nuovo strumento di confronto testi per evidenziare le differenze e una nuova funzionalità di gestione della documentazione dell’applicazione, che va ad arricchire le funzionalità già presenti nella piattaforma.

The Omniaplace platform continues to evolve, in this release the development team focused on the versioning of the application configured with Omniaplace, changing the mode of release of the individual features, thanks to the use of the “packages”.
Without giving up some of the main strengths, that is robustness, flexibility and readiness through which it is possible to develop “custom” solutions with Omniaplace, the packages introduce a new updating system, ensuring greater control over releases (every package assigns a “version number” to the configuration and the “history” of the project remains visible), and lending a greater reliability (an error during the upgrade phase of the system does not compromise the status of system itself that remains as it was before upgrade).

Beside the evolution of the platform in terms of new functionalities, the laboratory keeps constantly an eye on  performance, security and stability.  This is therefore the target of the new update released by the Omniaplace team. Beside an improvement on the usability of some controls and the main menu,  the update brings a significant  performance improvement  on  the most frequent data retrieval operations and improves the system security by adopting  a stronger password and sensitive data encryption algorithm.     

New updates for Omniaplace are now available. The Omniaplace laboratory has developed a series of new functionalities that further enrich the social and business intelligence components of the software platform. In detail, some of the new features are as following. Notifications: the platform can notify users about all the operations performed on files and documents through in-platform notifications, emails or smss. Chat: the chat service has been restyled to be more social-oriented. Profile page: each user can manage his/her profile, add contacts and arrange them into circles in a social-oriented fashion. He/she can also choose whether to be subscribed or not on notification services at a detailed level. Gantt: a new control makes it possible to create and manage Gantt diagrams within the platform. A step forward on the development of the functionalities provided by the Omniaplace platform. The eResult Omniaplace Lab has released new features to manage multimedia content. Specifically, it will be possible to insert videos inside the documents, uploading them from your computer of linking youtube videos, enabling the user to watch them within the application. But that’s not all. New features allow data to be represented through graphs (histograms, linear curves, pies etc.) or indicators on a graduate scale (like speedometers, thermometers etc.).

A few days after releasing the chat, Omniaplace continues growing on social functionalities designed specifically for business customers. The eResult laboratory has developed a new release that allows a different view of the files. It is especially suitable for news and contents, in general, because it allows a more immediate and practical preview by the users. A new step forward, then, in the direction already taken: more and more social features, in the context of web communication where the customisation really makes the difference.

The new chat functionality is now available on the platform designed by eResult. Omniaplace offers to its business customers a new feature for instant messaging. The last minor release, developed by the company staff, opens up a series of "social" functionalities that will be implemented and customised, from time to time, according to different business needs.
