The eResult technical staff has just released the latest version of the Omniaplace platform, which is full of many new features. The most important updates concern:

the social view, which was re-engineered in the view mode and enriched with new elements in the post

the documentation, which now also has a social view that makes it easily accessible and usable even for the end user.

The documentation becomes "contextual", so in the tooltip related to objects with associated documents (File, FileType, Folder, MenuElements), an icon is shown? clicking on which the corresponding document opens to full screen:

Omniaplace now also offers the possibility of creating simple application satisfaction questionnaires to be submitted to users.

In addition to the already many different ways of displaying files (Worksheet, Crosstab, Social, Hierarchy, GIS, Calendar, etc.), Omniaplace has been enriched with a powerful new file view for managing task tasks and projects (with Agile). In the "basic" version there are already FileType useful for the management of projects and tasks; obviously it is possible, as for all the Omnia FileType, to customize the filetypes as you like:

The eResult team of IT professionals constantly takes care of the evolution of the Omniaplace integrated platform, with the aim of constantly improving performance and responding to the most complex needs.

The new version of Omniaplace has significantly revised the management of all the drop-down lists, so as to become even more robust and performing. The new features are very numerous, starting from a new "Autofilter" mode of automatic file filtering, whereby it is possible to select, on the appropriately enabled columns, multiple filter values ​​from a list that includes all the values ​​contained in the files. To this is added the new "drop-down list control" that allows, within the files, the selection of multiple elements combined with a useful search function, in order to manage, in an extremely high performance, lists with hundreds or thousands of items.

In addition, a Code editor is now available in Omnia, useful for displaying the content of a text area corresponding to code (of various languages) in a "formatted" way. With the new "Text comparison" command it is possible to show the difference between two texts.

A "3D View" control is now also active in Omnia. It allows you to view and manipulate (rotate) template files in various 3D formats and a "PDF Viewer" control that allows you to directly display the contents of a file in the Omniaplace file. pdf file. On various data visualization controls (Textarea, pdf viewer, images, 3d view, html editor, etc.) there is now an "Expand" functionality icon that allows you to expand the control in full screen so that you can more easily manage the content. The social view of files combined with the "Expand" feature can be used to make Omniaplace documentation available to users. In addition, in addition to the various data extraction modes already present, a new mode of "data export in Word format" has been added, with numerous formatting possibilities and another mode of exportation in "Reporting Services" reports. The new feature also allows you to use "interactive" features (drill through).
